THE COOKIES!
1.5 Cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
1 Cup Oleo
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
0.5 Teaspoon Almond Flavoring
2.5 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Cream Tartar
Cream sugar and oleo. Mix in eggs and flavorings. Sift dry ingredients together and blend into mixture. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Roll out dough to approximately 1/4 inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to make shapes of cookies. Bake cut cookies at 375 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes. Do not overcook.
THE ICING:
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Tablespoon Softened Oleo
 * Begin by mixing these two together until creamy.
Add:
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
Mix until smooth. Add more milk or sugar to achieve the correct consistency for frosting. Works best when of a thick consistency.
